Dear customer
Design, construction
and manufacturing of your furniture meet high-level
quality demands.
So that you take long pleasure in your beautiful
furniture, you should mind some care advice.
Chrystal care
That way you will treat rightly your precious glass
table:
Glass is resistant against liquids normally
used in households.
The glass care
is done with a mild not-rubbing cleanser respectively
with clear, unbent water (i.e. Pril). After that,
please wipe it off with a dry, not-pilling cloth
or newspaper.
Glass does not tolerate extreme
variations in temperature caused by hot pots
or deep-freezed bottles. That would cause spontaneous
break by material stress.
In order that the glass
top is not scratched, you should always use soft
table mats under ceramics and china.

Single-pane
safety glass
Safety glass features particularly enhanced
resistance. By the use of a special treatment (so
called tempering) this will be achieved. Therefore
the glass must be readily finished, as it will
be too hard for certain tools after that procedure.
At the tempering the glass plates will be heated
up to approx. 700° C
and after that are cooled down abruptly (shock-cooling).
In doing so the glass surface will be tempered,
the stress field in the glass will be punctuated,
and both the bending strength and the impact strength
will be highly increased. The impact strength will
be restricted at the edge. In case of breakage
of safety glass very small glass particles arise,
which are, in addition, no more sharp-edged. In
comparison to float glass, which split into sharp-edged,
sharp pieces. Conditional to the high temperature
by tempering the glass, it will be undulated. But
for the eye of the beholder this unevenness will
not be seen, just as the tiny inclusions and burns,
which form part of the normal characteristics of
safety glass. Please find further information in
DIN 1249.
Matt glass
We offer matt glass in chemical keying
acidulated surface treatement, this
side will always be at the top.
Coloured glass
Our coloured glass is non-transparent,
varnished glass, which is made by applying and
hardening of highly-resistant varnish on the lower
glass plate.
Optiwhite white glass
In case of normal float glass a
standardised salt mix is added. This may have different
shades depending on the provenance of the glass
sand. At this a green cast occurs.
Optiwhite white glass is an especial glass without
colour-cast, which will be decoloured via very
thoroughly regulated addition of certain metal
salts. It has no green cast. The glass is white
varnished at its backside and through this it gets
a brilliant ensemble. Optiwhite white glass is
also offered for certain models with unacidulated
surface and thus gets a mat optical characteristic
for its surface.
